Collection: Icheon Ceramic

The history of Icheon’s ceramics goes back a thousand years, and the city was home to numerous workshops supplying to the royal palaces throughout history. Icheon continues in this tradition, and today there are over 400 workshops that produces modern and traditional ceramics using various methods such as Buncheong, celadon, and white porcelain techniques. The workshops are fueled by the creativity of contemporary ceramicists and master craftsmen who have dedicated their lives to protecting and improving Korea’s traditional ceramics culture.
